We love our brides and often have long term relationships with them long after the wedding is over. The reason why that happens is because we provide them with a wonderful and lasting experience. Yet over the years we have heard horror stories of the brides experience with a rouge wedding videographer. So here are some things we highly recommend to make sure that you avoid a wedding video nightmare.

1. Get to know your videographer. Don’t just hire a person to shoot the wedding. Personal chemistry is extremely important, especially if problems occur.

2. Make sure to ask plenty of questions. Do not assume anything. Many of the horror stories I have heard is because the bride and groom did not ask questions.  Some questions to consider are when will my video be returned, how long will my video be, do you allow me to keep the raw footage, and how do you work with the wedding co-ordinator and photographer?

3. Make sure that your videographer has a lighting kit. You would be suprised at how many brides were disappointed because their video was too dark. That can be avoided by asking two questions, what type of lighting do you provide and does your editing equipment allow you to enhance the video lighting? If your videographer request additional lighting from the venue, please comply.
